KOGA E-Xtension CrossBar: A lightweight, powerful and stylish e-bike.

Featuring Koga's High Power 40 Nm motor and 27 gears, this machine can whiz you to work during the week and take you touring the countryside at the weekend.  Its lightweight Li-Ion battery can be recharged on the bike or unlocked and removed to plug in at home or hotel.

Comfort and control is uncompromised: when touring over longer distances its Featherlight front suspension will soak up all the ripples.  Electronic security systems are built in, and a large clear display shows power setting, battery charge level, distance, range, speed, time and temperature.

Shimano hydraulic disc brakes front and rear ensure effective braking, and precision steering geometry make it a very stable bike to ride whatever the road or track conditions. • ION Electric Drive System How does it work?

  Energy is supplied from a rechargeable battery which provides power to an electric motor mounted in the front or rear wheel. The experience is similar to that of riding a conventional bike, but the effort required is much less.

  Choose between OFF, ECO, NORMAL, and FULL POWER riding programs using the up and down thumb switch.

  The assistance level is further moderated by pedal pressure.

  The amount of assistance provided is directly proportional to the amount of effort you put in - you are in complete control – stop pedalling and your ebike will simply coast to a stop, push harder and the bike will whiz you along faster. It’s just like riding a conventional bike, only much easier and more fun!

  Twisting the throttle whilst cycling has the effect of boosting the power assistance to maximum, irrespective of how hard you’re pedalling.

  This enhanced performance is very useful on steep or very long hills. When not pedalling the throttle controls forward and reverse speeds to assist parking.

Commissioned and road tested e-bike:

Before being delivered your electric bike is checked and road-tested by our expert staff to make sure everything is perfect.

Fully assembled and delivered direct to you by our expert staff:

We don’t believe your e-bike experience should begin with a white van dropping off a brown cardboard box. This is a whole different delivery experience - our staff expect to spend time with you to make sure you are happy with your choice, so be ready to put the kettle on!

One of our team will deliver your e-bike to your door fully assembled and tested at a pre-arranged time,  and will work with you to ensure every thing is perfectly adjusted to suit your size and preferred riding style before that all-important test ride.

After your test ride, when everything has been fine-tuned to your liking and you are comfortable with your e-bike we will fit any accessories you may have ordered – or those you might already have – a favourite old saddle perhaps, a particular bell, or pair of trusted hand-me-down panniers.

Only when we are certain you are completely confident in your e-bike choice and understand how everything works will we leave you to enjoy your new found freedom.

In the unlikely event that you’re not 100% delighted with your e-bike after the test-ride we simply take it back and either return later with alternative model of your choosing, or give you a 100% refund.

Note: After you have inspected the bike, completed the test ride and agreed that this is the right bike for you, the sale will be complete. Please be sure you are happy with everything before we leave as we cannot accept returns once our delivery staff  have driven away unless the e-bike can been shown to have a design or manufacturing fault. We then retain the right to determine the appropriate remedy, be that on-site repair or replacement of a part, a replacement electric bike, or full or partial refund.

Parts and labour warranty:

A solid manufacturers warranty is a key benefit of choosing one of our quality European made ebikes. In the unlikely event that a component fails a replacement will shipped to us from Holland or Germany, usually within 24hrs, and fitted free of charge either at our Suffolk workshop, or at your home if you have purchased our on-site service option.

Note: All our ebikes carry a minimum two year warranty; please see ebike specification table for model-specific variations.

Evening and weekend delivery:

Because few of us are at home during working hours these days, we offer the option of our personal home delivery service on Saturdays and Sundays, and evenings during the week.

On-site service:

Convenient dates for your service visits are arranged with our staff when we deliver your bike.

Experience has taught us that regular preventative maintenance is much better than simply reacting to problems as and when they occur. By choosing our on-site service option you’ll have the peace of mind that potential problems are likely to be identified and dealt with before they arise, thereby helping ensure your ebike is safe and in good working order.

In the unlikely event that an unexpected problem arises – for example a puncture or broken front light – simply call or email us to bring forward a scheduled service and we will visit and carry out repairs.

Note: On-site service visits must be used within 12 months of ebike purchase and are non-transferable in the event that ownership of the e-bike changes.

Note: If you would prefer to bring your ebike to our Suffolk workshop for servicing, the cost is £40 plus VAT.

Courtesy e-bike:

With this option we deliver a courtesy ebike for you to use should your ebike need to be returned to our workshop for repairs - ideal for those who depend upon their ebike every day for commuting to work or the school run.

Note: Valid for 12 months from the date your e-bike was purchased and non-transferable in the event that ownership of the e-bike changes.

Insurance:

Insurance covers theft, malicious damage and third party liabilities and is valid for 12 months from the date on which your e-bike was delivered. In the case of theft, you must be able to produce: a) the bike's electronic immobiliser; b) both main and spare keys to the mechanical lock sold with or built into your e-bike.

Note: Insurance is only available for e-bikes factory fitted with electronic immobilisers.

Note: If your ebike is not fitted with a built in mechanical lock you must purchase one from the selection of approved locks fitted in Accessories.

Note: The insurance policy is non-transferable in the event that ownership of the e-bike changes.

Note: We and our Underwriters reserve the right to refuse the offer of insurance cover. If you purchase our GOLD service package (which includes insurance), and for some reason we unable to offer cover, we will contact you to arrange for the cost of insurance to be refunded.
